About Competitive Intelligence and Analytics (CIA)

CIA has become a single source of truth for the University’s data assets, capturing data from different systems and engineering the data into a view that accurately reflects the business process lifecycle.

About You

A proactive relationship manager who sees value in developing and investing in positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to understand the requirements of the business.

A demonstrated ability to transform those requirements into meaningful data which communicates effectively and in an engaging way.

Demonstrated extensive experience in working in SQL, Alteryx and/or Python to design and develop efficient Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) with well-structured, optimised and documented code.

And most of all, you value working in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

The opportunities

CIA has six (6) Data Engineer positions available. Four in the Tertiary Collection of Student Information (TCSI) team, who will maintain the University’s core dataset, and two in the Views and Features team, which provides an information layer to the Government, Data Scientists, Visualisation Specialists and other end users.

Data Engineer (TCSI)
